Zooming

Available in [, ], ;, ', ,, . or = mode
Zooming allows you to move visually closer to
or farther from a subject without physically
changing your position.
When using the optical zoom, you can enlarge
the subject up to 3K.
Zooming in (when you want to center
attention on the subject)
Zooming out (when you want to include
the surroundings)
Zooming in
Press the Power Zoom "T" (telephoto) button
to get a close-up view (1).
Zooming out
Press the Power Zoom "W" (wide angle)
button to get a wide field of view (2).

zoom setting.

Auto Focus

Available in [, ], ;, ', ,, . or = mode
The camera is designed to automatically focus
on most types of subjects. The camera
automatically focuses on the subject in the
center of the frame.
Notes:
• If no subject is in the center of the frame, the
focus area will expand and the subject nearest
the center will be focused on.
• If there is no subject to focus on, the camera will
automatically zoom out until a focusable subject
comes into the frame.
• Auto Focus may not work in the situations
described below. If v lights up red, the
camera cannot auto-focus. Try focusing again
in a different angle or composition.
– Subject is too dark.
– Lack of contrast, e.g. snow scene.
– Fast-moving subject.
– Background is too bright.
– Subject has horizontal stripes.
– Subject is shot through a dirty or wet
– Light reflects off the subject.
– Two subjects at different distances overlap
