Cleaning and Maintenance
To ensure consistent performance this manual contains helpful maintenance
guidelines which will extend the life of your Bonavita brewer. This brewer
contains no serviceable parts. For service, please contact the experts at
support@bonavita.life or 1-888-850-2675 (USA).
Aside from keeping the brewer clean and descaling every 3-4 weeks, 100
brewing cycles, or if unused for 30 days or more, no other user maintenance is
required.
This appliance contains no internal user serviceable parts. Leave servicing and
repairs to qualified personnel.
Use a soft, damp cloth and mild dish liquid for cleaning the carafe and its
housing. After cleaning, make sure to rinse the carafe thoroughly. The filter
basket and carafe can also be cleaned on the top rack of the dishwasher.
A coffee machine cleaning product should be used periodically to remove
residual coffee oils. A coffee machine cleaning product is not the same as
a descaling product. Bonavita recommends Cafetto Brew Clean, a powder
designed to remove coffee oils and stain, and provide a superior clean.
Please follow all instructions and guidelines included with your Bonavita brewer
purchase.
CLEANING THE SHOWERHEAD
Note: Always unplug the coffee brewer
before cleaning.
1. Hold the showerhead and carefully
turn clockwise to unlock.
2. Gently clean with a soft/damp cloth.
3. Turn and lock the showerhead back
into place.
