EXTENSION CORDS
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of tangling and
tripping. Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords may be
used if care is exercised. If a detachable power-supply cord or extension cord
is used:
• The electrical rating of the extension cord should be appropriate for the
electrical rating of the appliance.
• The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be tripped over, snagged, or pulled on,
especially if children are present.
POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug, which means that one blade is wider than
the other. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is designed to fit
into a polarized outlet only one way. If plug does not fully fit into the outlet,
reverse it. If plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt
to modify the plug.
