2. Press one of the plastic retaining clips toward the side of the
socket and lift up on the edge of the memory module until
it is released. (See the illustration below.)
3. Grasp the module firmly and pull it out of the socket. You
are now ready to install the new memory module.
Follow these steps to install the new memory module:
1. Holding the memory module with the notch on the upper
right corner, align it with the connector at the edge of the
socket.
2. Insert the memory module into the socket at an angle as
shown, pressing along the edge until it clicks into place.
3. Press down on the module until it snaps into the plastic
retaining clips on the sides.
