Faxing

Printing a fax log

From the home screen, touch Settings > Reports > Fax.

Touch Fax Job Log or Fax Call Log.

Blocking junk faxes

From the home screen, touch Settings > Fax > Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings > Admin Controls.

Set Block No Name Fax to On.

Holding faxes

From the home screen, touch Settings > Fax > Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings > Holding Faxes.

Select a mode.

Forwarding a fax

Using the control panel

Create a fax destination shortcut.

From the home screen, touch Fax > To.

Enter the recipient number, and then touch Done.

Create a shortcut.

From the home screen, touch Settings > Fax > Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings > Admin Controls.

In the Fax Forwarding menu, touch Forward.

In the Forward to menu, configure the destination.
Using the Embedded Web Server

Create a fax destination shortcut.

Open a web browser, and then type the printer IP address in the address field.
Notes:
•
View the printer IP address on the home screen. The IP address appears as four sets of numbers
separated by periods, such as 123.123.123.123.
•
If you are using a proxy server, then temporarily disable it to load the web page correctly.

Click Shortcuts > Add Shortcut.

From the Shortcut Type menu, select Fax, and then configure the settings.

Apply the changes.

Click Settings > Fax > Fax Setup > Fax Receive Settings > Admin Controls.
