6.3 Battery, fuse and tyres

Battery
Refer to the section entitled '5.2 Battery' in '5. Battery charging and care'.
Fuse
If the battery charger is turned on and no LEDs are lit, check the fuse.
Suggestions
Ask for help from CareCo to inspect or replace the fuse, as the tiller shroud has to be removed before the fuse
can be replaced. Contact Customer Services on 0845 611 8022 or email: cs@careco.co.uk
Tyres
The condition of the tyres depends on how you drive and use your scooter.
Inspecting tyre tread
Please check the tread groove regularly. Replace the tyres when the tread groove is less than 0.5 mm.
Attention
1.
When tread depth is below 0.5mm the scooter may not grip well making braking distances longer.
Therefore replace the tyres as soon as they are found to have insufficient tread depth.
2.
The tyre pressure should be kept at about 26 PSI (approx. 1.8KG/cm) for the best ride and handling.
Attention
When carrying out maintenance of your vehicle, please turn the power switch to OFF and remove the
charger cords.
Suggestions
Do not splash water directly onto your scooter when washing as this could lead to malfunction of the system
electrics.
Do not use petrol or solvents as these may damage the shrouds.
Do not use wax.

6.4 Storage

Make sure the vehicle is stored as follows:-
-
The seat is set in the 'Forward' position
-
The Power switch is turned to 'OFF'
