    6. OPERATION • If the power down timer feature takes effect, follow the steps below to restore normal operation. 1. Remove the key from the key switch. 2. Reinsert the key and power the scooter. 6.3 FREEWHEEL MODE If the user needs/wants to push the scooter a short distance, the scooter can be put into freewheel mode.

    7. BATTERY CHARGING AND CARE 7.1 CHARGING THE BATTERY Follow the procedure below step by step: Turn the scooter power switch to (OFF) 2. Plug the chargers power cord into an electrical outlet. 3. Open the charging socket cap of the battery pack before connecting the round plug of the charger to the charging socket.
  • Page 23 7. BATTERY CHARGING AND CARE 7.2 BATTERY • When charging or storing the scooter, do not expose the battery to temperatures below 10°C or above 50°C. Below or above this temperature range may cause the battery to freeze or overheat. This will damage the battery and shorten its life.

If necessary, properly install an approved 3-pronged adapter to an electrical outlet having 2-pronged plug access. PROHIBITED! Never use an extension cord to plug in your battery charger. Plug the charger directly into a properly wired standard electrical outlet.

    7. BATTERY CHARGING AND CARE 7.2 CLEANING THE BATTERY If the battery is contaminated with water, battery acid, dust, or other substances, the battery will discharge rapidly. The battery that comes with the scooter is sealed, so there is no battery leakage and no maintenance required. Follow the steps below to clean the battery.

    8. INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE 8.1 INSPECTION • Clean the scooter with a damp cloth and dust down approximately once a week to preserve the appearance of the scooter. • Adjust the tiller height and return to the original position once a week to ensure smooth movement of parts.
