If the above recommendations cannot be met, a powered exhaust duct may be used:
Powered exhaust systems should provide 3680 liters per minute (130 ft³/min) of flow.

Powered lamp exhaust ducts connected to the lamp outlet must provide an air gap of at least 10 cm (4 in)
●
to avoid applying suction to the printer when printing operations are not in process. Failure to provide an air
gap may result in incorrect operation or ingestion of material into the duct during routine maintenance and
servicing.

Option 2: No direct connection from the lamp
The printer can be safely and efficiently operated without a dedicated lamp exhaust or HVAC return duct. This
configuration features only building HVAC supply and return/exhaust.
In this case, a minimum of 10 ACH to ensure operator comfort is required.
Filtered HVAC building return/exhaust duct should be located near the printer lamp exhaust to maximize
