familiar with HP 3D Center by PrintOS; and create, at least, an organization and a user account associated with it.
Make sure that you keep all relevant access information: you will need to provide your organization information in
the site preparation checklist at the end of this document, and it will also be used during the installation process.
What is HP 3D Center by PrintOS?
HP 3D Center by PrintOS is a cloud-based operating system, delivering a suite of apps that drive productivity and
allow access to real-time information about your HP 3D devices. If your company already owns an HP large-
format printer or press, you should already be familiar with the PrintOS environment.
It also provides access to all the product documentation and white papers.
NOTE:
The list of apps that it provides depends on the list of devices that your company owns.
You can access HP 3D Center using the following URL: http://www.hp3dcenter.com/.
HP 3D Center management: organizations and user accounts
HP 3D Center by PrintOS can manage devices divided between one or more organizations, each with one or more
sites.
Each organization can contain multiple sites, and each site can contain multiple devices. You may use an
organization to represent a company, and a site to represent a company office. But you can choose what they
represent in your particular case.
Each organization can have multiple user accounts with different level of permissions (admin, dashboard,
operator, user).
During site preparation, you should create an organization and an admin user account. This admin account will
allow you to perform the following tasks:
Manage user accounts: Invite new users, with their different roles.
Manage sites and configure their physical locations.
Manage devices: Add devices to the sites, remove them, change names, and so on.
Manage the apps to which your organization has access.
