Step Site preparation phase and tasks
I have arranged for a certified electrician to be
18 present on the day of installation to directly connect
the power cable to the printer's terminal block.
Computer and network requirements
I have installed HP SmartStream 3D Command
Center Server software in a designated computer
that meets the HP SmartStream 3D Command

Center Server requirements as described in the site
preparation guide. I confirm that this computer will
be on and connected to the HP Cloud 24/7.
I have installed HP SmartStream 3D Command
Center Client in one or more of my computers and

successfully completed connectivity tests as
described in {Xref Error! Target does not exist.}
I will have a qualified member of my IT department
with the required administrator permissions present
on the day of installation; or, if I do not have an IT
department, I will have a person with the required

network and computer permissions to help the
HP Support Engineer to finish the network setup,
connect to the HP Cloud, and register with HP 3D
Center.
Planning for printer installation
The designated printer operator will be available for
the full amount of time required for the operator's
22 training that is included in the installation. This
training can include a couple of hours each day for
two days.
My explosion-protected vacuum cleaner will be ready

to use on the day of installation.
My post-processing equipment (such as bead-
24 blasting with the recommended bead type) will be
ready to use on the day of installation.
I have completed the customer information form
25 included in the site preparation guide checklist
section.
I have answered all the questions on the checklist

and I have signed it.
When you sign this document, you are confirming that the site has been prepared according to the specifications
provided in this site preparation guide, that all checklist items have been completed, and that the site is prepared
and ready for printer delivery and installation.
