1. If the warning symbol on the outer dial starts flashing (once every 2 seconds), you need to descale your machine. This is a two-step process: first, descaling (approx. duration 14
minutes), followed by rinsing (approx. duration 3 minutes).
2. Limescale accumulation is a normal result of machine use. The machine has an automatic program that helps optimize cleaning and removes scale deposits from the interior. Failure
to descale your machine may result in malfunctions that are not covered by the warranty.
3. For the descaling procedure, refer to that indicated in the corresponding chapter in this manual. Use only descaling products for coffee machines, dissolved according to the proce-
dures indicated in the instructions for the product.
4. In the event of a power outage during the descaling procedure, the descaling cycle resumes at the point it was interrupted.
