Description of the device Features The X-18BA is an active 18" Sub/ Bass speaker: • Lightweight amplifier and power supply. • Full 2-way active crossover inside. • User variable crossover frequency from 60-250Hz, 24dB/oct. • Auxiliary High Out for other active full range speaker systems. -

Controlpanel Fig. 2 Volume Use to adjust the input volume level for the X-18BA. 2) Limiter LED We suggest you to set the input level with the Volume (1) control in such way that the LED blinks occasionally yellow. If the LED blinks red or lights red continuously we strongly suggest you to lower the Volume (1) control. -

This is the main Power switch. Press to turn the X-18BA on. Installation Remove all packing materials from the X-18BA. Check that all foam and plastic padding is removed. Connect all cables. Always disconnect from electric mains power supply before cleaning or servicing. -

Connection Cables Take care of your cables, always holding them by the connectors and avoiding knots and twists when coiling them: This gives the advantage of increasing their life and reliability. Periodically check your cables. A great number of problems (faulty contacts, ground hum, discharges, etc.) are caused entirely by using unsuitable or faulty cables. -

Maintenance The X-18BA requires almost no maintenance. However, you should keep the unit clean. Disconnect the mains power supply, and then wipe the cover with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in liquid. Keep connections clean. Disconnect electric power, and then wipe the audio connections with a damp cloth. -
