General usage notes
Not at any time should you use the inner pot for storing foods in the fridge or
deep freezer and for warming in the outer pot afterwards. The sudden
temperature fluctuations may lead to a burst of the inner pot.
Avoid sudden temperature fluctuations. E.g. do not dunk the hot inner pot and glass
lid into cold water or place them on wet surfaces.
Always handle the removable inner pot and the glass lid with care and caution, in
order to prolong service life.
Do not let inner pot or glass lid bump against the water tap or other, hard objects or
surfaces.
Do not use inner pot or glass lid when they have been damaged, show cracks or are
heavily scratched.
Pull the power plug when the device is not used!

6. Cleaning and maintenance

6.1 Safety advice

o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power socket (pull the power plug!!!) and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device.
o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and the
plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets. Therefore, you must not
use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!

6.2 Cleaning

o Clean all the device parts after every use.
o Clean inner pot and glass lid with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly afterwards.
o In case leftovers remain at the bottom, fill the inner pot with warm water and leave it
soaking for a few hours. Afterwards the pot can be cleaned easily.
o Clean the inside and outside of the outer pot with a soft and damp cloth.
o Use soft cloth only and make sure you never use any kind of abrasive agents or
pads, which could scratch the surface.
