Installation

The Henrob Compact Bulk Rivet Feeder feeds loose rivets to a riveting tool either directly or via a
magazine. The loose rivets are orientated by a vibrating bowl and escaped individually.
The Compact Bulk Rivet Feeder is controlled by a separate main Controller which also controls the
Rivet Setting System.
WARNING
Henrob Self-Pierce Riveting Equipment is packed suitable for short term storage. While in storage,
it should be protected from dust, moisture and excessive temperature (i.e. store at +5°C to +40°C,
non-condensing).
If the equipment is unpacked it should be suitably protected from damage. If the equipment is not
to be used for over one month additional measures may be required, consult Atlas Copco IAS UK
Limited for details.
Please read and implement the following set-up procedures before commencing operation of the
equipment.
NOTE
Recommendations
The maximum recommended length of T-Tube is 25m which governs the
„
installation position relative to the riveting tool. It is good practice to allow more
length of T-Tube than is actually required so that there is spare length for the
T-Tube ends to be re-dressed.
The maximum cable run distance that the Compact Bulk Rivet Feeder can be

installed from the Controller is 50m.

Observe normal health and safety at work practices for lifting and
moving loads. The unit is 19kg without rivets and provided with
handles to aid moving it around
Please check for and report any damage to the equipment on arrival at
your premises.
