Upgrade Steps

Here are the basic steps for installing these upgrades.

Step To do
1 Check firmware levels; update to latest versions.
Backup important data.
2 Open your upgrade kit(s) and check contents
3 Shut down applications and operating system
partition(s) in an orderly fashion.
4 Remove power from the cabinet (unplug the
system from its outlet). Wait 5 minutes so that any
residual power is grounded.
5 Remove the side panel.
6 Install brackets and 2P drawer(s).
7 Cable the drawers, install bezels
8 Power-up systems, create new hardware addresses,
verify the installation, troubleshoot if necessary.
9 Run Q-Vet.
