Cause
Breath sample has been blown too early.
Breath sample has been blown too soft.
Breath sample has been blown too hard.
Breath sample has been blown too short.
Breath sample is not delivered correctly by blowing
and sucking.
Breath sample has been sucked too short.
Mouthpiece is not correctly inserted into handset.
During delivery of the breath sample a fault has been
detected.
The measured breath alcohol concentration is above
the set limit value.
Temperature of the handset too low.
Temperature of handset too high.
Service interval will expire in x days.
Service interval expired.
Too many violations have been detected.
Fault on handset.
Remedy
Deliver breath sample when requested by the instru-
ment.
Repeat test blowing harder.
Repeat test blowing softer.
Repeat test blowing longer.
Repeat test with blowing and immediately afterwards
sucking.
Repeat test sucking longer.
Insert mouthpiece correctly.
Deliver breath sample again when requested by the
instrument.
Repeat the test after at least 15 minutes. If the mes-
sage appears, the breath alcohol concentration is
above the limit value.
Detach handset and take it to a place with a moder-
ate temperature. Connect handset again and per-
form test.
