Troubleshooting
An error message is displayed if a device error occurs. The number that appears
below the message is used for service functions. If the fault remains after
switching theinstrument on and off several times, contact DrägerService or your
dealer.

Maintenance

The device is delivered with a default calibration. The last calibration date can be
checked in the menu.
Dräger recommends calibrating the device once a year. Calibration should only
be carried out by authorized persons, e.g., DrägerService.
Pay attention to the local calibration guidelines.

Cause
The batteries are dead.
The subject is blowing
with an unsteady breath or
without enough force.
The instrument is too hot
or too cold.
Measuring range
exceeded. Alcohol residue
in the mouth can lead to
incorrect measured
values.
Irregular exhalation,
abrupt end, or inhalation
Instrument fault
Remedy
Replace batteries.
Blow into the funnel
harder and continuously.
Allow the instrument to
cool down or become
warmer.
A wait time of at least
15 minutes after alcohol
was last orally consumed
must have elapsed.
To repeat, press the
