Safety instructions
2.1 General safety notes
Risk due to conductive contamination.
Can cause death, serious injury, or property damage.
The devices must be protected against conductive contamination, taking the ambient
conditions into account. One way to achieve this is to install the devices in a control cabinet
with the appropriate degree of protection.
You can find more information in the IEC 60529 standard "Degrees of protection provided by
enclosures (IP code)".
NOTICE
Material damage caused by electrostatic charging
When handling and installing the system components, ensure that the components are
protected from electrostatic charge. Changes to the system configuration and wiring are
permissible only when the supply voltage is switched off. The connection of 3TK2810-0 safety
relays is permitted only when the supply voltage is switched off.
