Safety instructions and measures Referenced standards, directives and regulations According to the ignition risk assessment performed in accordance with Clause 5.2 of ISO 80079-36, the non-electrical actuators do not have their own potential ignition source even in the rare incident of an operating fault. As a result, they do not fall within the scope of Directive 2014/34/EU.
Safety instructions and measures 1.1 Notes on possible severe personal injury DANGER Risk of bursting in the actuator. Actuators are pressurized. Improper opening can lead to actuator components burst- ing. Î Before starting any work on the actuator, depressurize all plant sections affected and the actuator.
