Adjust Lift Actuator

1. Verify that the home switch is functioning by running the Lift Motor Test in Diagnostics.
a. Press and hold Cool Down key
b. While pressing the Cool Down button, press and release Clear key twice.
c. Press Pause key until SERVICE MENU is displayed on the Message Center.
d. When SERVICE MENU is displayed, press any arrow key to select DIAGNOSTICS.
e. Navigate to Diagnostics > System Test > Lift Motor Test and run test.

To exit SERVICE MENU state at any time, press Clear repeatedly.
2. Drive lift system down until actuator's internal limit switch stops lift function.
3. Disconnect power cord from treadmill.
4. Measure and record the space between the top of the lift wheels and bottom of the unit frame.
5. Turn unit on its side.
6. Remove clevis pin from lift arm weldment.
7. Turn actuator tube clockwise (in towards the motor) in half-turn increments to approximately equal the space
measured before. One-half turn of the actuator tube shortens the operating length by 1/16" (1.6 mm). Make sure
the bolt holes align.
If the space between the top of the wheel and the bottom of the frame is 3/16" (4.76 mm), turn the actuator tube
1-1/2 turns clockwise (in towards the motor). If the space is 5/32" (4 mm), turn the actuator tube 1 turn clockwise.
CAUTION: Be careful not to turn the actuator screw while turning the actuator tube.
