Changing the HEPA filter

The air filter for the internal drying unit has a limited lifespan and has
to be replaced on a regular basis, e.g. when the following message
appears:
Replace with an Original Miele HEPA Filter classification 13 for
optimum performance.
Open the service panel in the base.

Push the retaining clips outward to release the HEPA filter.

Grasp the indentations on the sides and pull the filter toward you.

Insert a new HEPA filter, making sure that it locates securely in the

retaining clips.
Close the service panel.

Whenever the HEPA filter is replaced, the operating hours counter
must be reset.
