Indoor fireplace in protected outdoor applications
This fireplace may be installed into outdoor locations provided they are suitably protected from direct water impingement. However, all installation
clearances in the appliance manual must be observed. Framing, Clearances to Combustibles, Mantel Heights, Facing Requirements, Venting
Installation, etc. Use supplied Safety Screen.

Notes
• Overhang requirements must be applied to both the front and sides of the fireplace
• Indoor see-through models cannot be installed as indoor/outdoor fireplaces, as air
flows through both sides of the fireplace.
• If the fireplace will be in contact with salt water, then an outdoor fireplace is
recommended
• Follow all building codes, including those addressing fireplace penetration of an
exterior building envelope
NOTICE
Units with tempered glass doors are vulnerable to rapid and/or extreme
changes in temperature (thermal shock). Take care to prevent water
from contacting the fireplace, especially if it is hot.

combustibles, mantel heights, Facing Requirements, venting installation, etc. Use
supplied safety screen.
• All wiring connections to line power shall be in accordance with outdoor
requirements of; NECA NFPA 70 in the USA Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1
for Canada.
• The Fireplace is not to be operated in temperatures below freezing (0°C I 32°F)
