Making sandwiches

  • Put a slice of bread on the lower non-stick surface; put the filling on the slice, cover with the second slice of bread, carefully press the handles (3) together and close the clip (4).
  • Insert the plug into the socket, the power indicators (1) and (2) will light up.
  • Once the set temperature is reached the indicator (1) will go out.
  • Pull the lower part of the clip (4), open the unit and check whether the sandwiches are ready. Depending on your taste, you can remove sandwiches immediately after the indicator (1) goes out or wait for some time.

Tips

  • For the best results use medium slices of bread. Cooking time depends on the thickness of slices and sort of bread.
  • You can use wheat flour bread as well as rye lour bread.
  • Cut the bread into slices of required size.
  • Use vegetable oil or ordinary margarine to smear the slices, as other fats burn.
  • Do not put too much filling otherwise it leaks.
  • Do not use filling from vegetables that wilt under high temperature (lettuce, cucumber). You can have good results using tomatoes and onions.

  • Disconnect the unit from the mains.
  • Let the unit cool down completely, it is recommended to open the upper lid for this.
  • Remove the breadcrumbs, wipe the non-stick coating with a damp cloth, using a soft detergent, and rub it dry.
  • Never use abrasives or metal sponges for cleaning, as they can damage the unit nonstick coating or outer appearance of unit.
  • Never immerse the unit into water!

When making sandwiches do not use aluminum foil, paper packaging or other objects, as they can cause fire.
