OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

  • Before switching on the unit read this instruction carefully.
  • Make sure that your home electricity supply corresponds to the voltage of current specified on the housing.
  • The power cord is equipped with euro plug; insert it into the socket with secure grounding.
  • burn hazard In order to avoid risk of fire do not use adapters while connecting the appliance to the outlet.
  • For safety plug this unit into the outlet with current not less than 15 А.
  • shock hazard Do not plug or unplug the unit with wet hands, it may lead to electric shock or injuries.
  • Hold by the plug not by the cord while discon-necting.
  • Do not switch on the unit if it is empty.
  • Do not drop or incline the unit.
  • Use the thermo pot only for water boiling, do not use to heat or boil other liquids.
  • Provide that water level is not below the "RE-FILL" mark and not higher than the "FULL" mark.
  • Do not fill the thermo pot putting it under tap-ping water, use special cup for it.
  • Put the unit on the flat stable surface.
  • Do not use the unit near the walls and furniture. Steam that goes out may lead to deformation or other damages of the walls and furniture.
  • Do not use the unit near heat sources or open flame.
  • When children or infirm persons are near a pot, it is necessary to be especially careful.
  • Provide that the power cord is not hanging over the table and make sure that it does not touch heated surfaces.
  • Do not open the lid and do not pour water while boiling.
  • Do not rotate the unit while dispensing water.
  • Do not make efforts to open the lid. Close the lid firmly.

  • Keep your hands away from steam openings otherwise you can get burns. Do not block steam openings by foreign objects.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces of the thermo pot.
  • Be careful while carrying the thermo pot, filled with boiling water. Do not touch the lid opening button.
  • Do not carry the thermo pot, by holding the lid opening button.
  • Remove the lid to pour the rest of hot water. Be careful while pouring out hot water.
  • shock hazard In order to avoid electric shock do not immerse the unit into water or other liquids.
  • Always switch off and unplug the unit if it is not being used or before cleaning.
  • Do not wash the unit in a dish wash machine.
  • Before taking the unit away for keeping, unplug it, pour out water and let it cool down and dry out.
  • Check the power cord and the plug periodi-cally. Do not use the thermo pot if there are damages in the power cord.

    Do not repair the unit yourself. It may lead to a fire, electric shock, or injuries. If there are some damages in the unit apply to the authorized service center.
  • The unit is intended for household use only.

FIRST USAGE OF THE UNIT

  • Unpack the thermo pot.
  • Before switching on make sure that your home electricity supply corresponds to the voltage of current specified on the housing.
  • Open the lid (8), by pressing the (6) button and holding the lid.
  • Fill the pot with water, using the special cup, do not overfill, fill to the (15) "FULL" mark.
  • Insert the power cord plug (16) into the outlet (12) on the case, and the plug into the socket.
  • The indication (20) "BOILING" will light up.
  • Press the (21) "RE-BOILING" /"TEMP DECLIN-ING" button, The thermo pot will switch on into boiling mode, the (22) "BOILING" indication will light up.
  • After water starts boiling, the unit will switch to temperature keeping mode, set by the TEMP. SET (19) button, the indication (23, 24 or 28) will start flashing.
  • Pour out water, press the (27) "UNLOCK" but-ton to unlock water dispensing pump, the indication (26) will light up.
  • Put a cup under the water spout (4), by press-ing water dispensing button (3).

The second way: - Put a cup under the water spout (4) and press water dispensing button (25) "DISPENSE".

Note:
Water dispensing is performed only with the lighting indication (26).

You can dispense water, using the hand pump (18), by preliminary setting the hand pump locking (17) to ON position.

  • Pull out the plug from the socket.
  • With closed lid (8) press the lid clamp (9) and remove the lid.
  • Pour out the rest of water from the thermo pot.


Attention: during dispensing water be careful not to get burns from hot water.

USING OF THE UNIT

  • Fill the thermo pot with water and insert the plug into the socket. The (20) "TEMP DECLINING" will light up on the control panel. Press the (21) "RE-BOILING"/"TEMP DECLINING" button, The thermo pot will switch on into boiling mode, the (22) "BOILING" indication will light up.
    After water starts boiling, the unit will switch to temperature keeping mode. You can select warming temperature by pressing the (19) "TEMP.SET" button, the corresponding indication (23, 24 or 28) will start flashing, when water temperature reaches the preset temperature the indication (23, 24 or 28) will be lighting, with further increasing temperature the heating mode will switch on, the (22) "BOILING" indication will light up.
    When water goes below the (1) "REFILL" mark, open the lid (8) and refill water, do not overfill (15) "FULL".
  • In the temperature keeping mode, one of the indicators (23, 24 or 28) is on and you can switch re-boiling mode by pressing the (21) "RE-BOILING" /"TEMP DECLINING" button, the (22) "BOILING" will light up.
  • In the temperature keeping mode or boiling mode press the (21) "RE-BOILING" /"TEMP DECLINING" button to switch off the unit temporary, the indicator (20) "TEMP DECLINING" will light up.
  • Hot water is supplied in two ways:
    • automatically, when cup presses the water dispense spout (3);
    • when pressing the (25) "DISPENSE" button.

Attention:

  • Water is dispensed only when the (26) indication is on, lock/unlock is switched by the (27) "UNLOCK" button.
    You can dispense water, using the hand pump (18), by preliminary setting the hand pump locking (17) to ON position.
  • After usage, pour out water from the unit, unplug it, let the unit cool down completely and take it away for keeping.

CLEAN AND CARE

  • Before cleaning, disconnect the unit, pour out water from the unit, and let the unit cool down completely.
  • Wipe the outer surfaces of the unit with a damp cloth. Use soft detergents to remove dirt; do not use metal brushes and abrasives.
  • Do not immerse the thermo pot into water or other liquids.
  • Do not wash the unit in a dish wash machine.

Attention:
The upper lid (8) is removable, when locked (8), press the clamp (9) and remove the lid.

Spots on the inner surface of the thermo pot

Under the influence of different additives, contained in water, inner surface may change its color.

  • You can remove such spots using citric acid or vinegar.
  • To remove lemon taste, boil water and pour it away. Repeat the procedure until the taste disappears.

Scale removal

  • Scale, appearing inside the pot, influences wa-ter taste, and disturbs heat exchange between water and the heating element, that can lead to overheating and malfunction.
  • To remove scale, fill the pot with water with vin-egar dissolved in it in proportion 2:1. Boil water and leave the unit for a night. In the morning pour out water, fill the pot with water till max. mark, boil it and pour out water.
  • You can use special substances for electric thermo pots to remove scale.
  • After removal of scale, boil clear water and pour it out.
