5. Initial operation

5.1. Unpacking

NOTICE
Note the weight (approx. 110kg (243lbs) for stan-
dard lift of 3m (10 ft), each 1m (1ft) of additional
lift increases the weight by 2x 3,8kg (2x 2.6lbs))
of your product PROFI 6 TI during transport. En-
sure that the control system is not damaged. This
could lead to malfunctions.
Keep the accompanying documents in the
place provided near the site of application.
Lift the product carefully out of the packaging.
Dispose of packaging in the local recycling
system.

NITIAL OPERATION

5.2. Attach chain container

Attach the chain container with holder (1) to
the mounting by using a screw (2) and nut
(3). See the spare parts list for the tightening
torque.

5.2.1. Insert the chain into the chain container

WARNING
Danger from chain crash
If the chain is in the chain holder haphazardly, it
may become blocked when lowering a load.
Never place the chain in the chain container
haphazardly
1. After mounting the chain container, lower the
load hook once into the lowest position.
2. Then switch on the lifting motion and move
the entire chain into the container once!
If the hoist has been transported with the chain in
the container:
1. Empty the chain container by hand before
commissioning. If necessary, remove the
chain container from the hoist.
2. Then have the entire chain run to the load
side and then drive it back into the chain con-
tainer.
During this process, the hoist is to be kept in a
suspended position.
