Changing Magnification (Zooming)

All stereo microscopes of Ivesta 3
Series allow a continuous magnifi-
cation change. The magnification
changer can be operated with the
left and the right hand. The image
scale is shown on the right drive
knob.
The basis for the calculation of the
total magnification and the field of
view can be found in chapter "Calcu-
lating the Total Magnification/Field
of View Diameter", page 63.

Changing magnification
1. Look into the eyepieces.
2. Focus on the object.
3. Rotate the magnification changer until the
desired magnification is configured.
