Using the timer function
When activating the timer for several cooking zones
• If the timer is activated for several cooking zones,
the timer display always shows the lowest remaining time.
A flashing dot next to the corresponding power display
indicates the cooking zone to which the display refers
(Example see illustration).
To display the remaining time of the timer
of another cooking zone,
touch the corresponding selection key.
• After the shortest set time has elapsed,
the corresponding cooking zone switches off,
the display changes to the next lowest remaining time
and the dot of the corresponding zone flashes.
• When the last remaining time set expires finally,
this cooking zone is also switched off.
4.2 Setting the 10 minutes timer
to pause the hob automatically
When this timer function is activated, the hob will automa-
tically switch to standby mode after 10 minutes.
This serves as a safety feature or a memory aid.
• To activate the 10 minute timer, press the Timer key without
first selecting a cooking zone.
The timer display will start flashing and show
The 10 minute timer is activated.
• After 10 minutes, all cooking zones will switch to standby mode.
The power indicators will start flashing.
• To continue operation, press the selection key of the desired
cooking zone.
The 10-minute countdown will then start again.
• To stop the 10-minute timer, press the timer key again without
having selected a cooking zone before.
