Risk of electric shock
• To avoid electric shock and damage, disconnect the
appliance from the power supply during installation,
maintenance or other work on it.
• Check whether the technical data on the rating plate of
the appliance are compatible with the local conditions
(voltage in V and frequency in Hz) .
If this is not the case, return the appliance to the point of
sale.
If you are unsure, contact your electricity supplier.
• The installer must ensure that the appliance is connec-
ted to an intact earthing system in compliance with all
applicable regulations
and that there is an easily accessible tested disconnec-
tor (fuse) with a contact opening width of min.
3 mm, which allows the appliance to be completely dis-
connected from the mains if necessary.
• Modifications to the power supply system may only be
carried out by a certified electrician.
There is a risk of life-threatening electric shock for un-
qualified persons!
• Do not use multiple sockets or extension cables to con-
nect the hob. These do not provide the necessary safety.
