9.3 Troubleshooting

The indicator lights help the user to identify an approaching problem in time and react appropriately to it. The following table contains
a description and instructions for individual warning states. If the solutions do not resolve the situation, contact your service partner
immediately.
Situation
Temperature symbol
Electronics are in the high temperature
flashes red
zone. The system works without
restrictions.

zone. The system works without
restrictions.
Five indicator lights
The motor current is in the high range.

The system stops the engine when the
condition is reached. It can then be
reactivated immediately.
The maximum allowed engine running
time has been reached. The system stops

Exceeding the range of high or low values of the parameters described in three
illuminate red
previous situations.
Low battery voltage.
Interrupted CANBUS communication.

Description
Improper parts and service can cause injury. Use only
Ferno parts and Ferno-approved service on the stretcher.
Modifying the stretcher can cause injury and damage.
Use the stretcher only as designed by Ferno.
Cause
The stretcher is exposed to high
temperatures for a long time.
Overheating due to failure to
observe the maximum duty cycle.
The stretcher is exposed to low
temperatures for a long time.
Exceeding the load limit of patient
surface.
Hight control button pressed for
more than 15 seconds.
Discharged battery.
Damage to the wiring or other
part of the electronic system.
Battery fully discharged.
System failure.
WARNING
Solution
Place the stretcher in an
environment with a temperature
below 30 °C.
Reduce the height positioning
frequency.
Place the stretcher in an
environment with a temperature
higher than 5 °C.
Lighten the patient area.
A long engine running time may be
the result of a system malfunction.
Contact an authorized service
center immediately.
Follow the instructions for the
solution in previous situations.
Connect the charging adapter.
