The following table describes the LEDs and their operational states:

LEDs on the controller unit

The back of the controller unit includes LEDs that indicate the status of the controller. For
example, the controller is active, the controller needs attention, or when there is Ethernet
activity.

Status indicator
Green One or more power supplies are
supplying power to the unit.
Off The unit is not receiving power.
Amber There is an error with the function of
one or more of the following:

Off The unit, drives, IOMs, power supply,
and fans are functioning correctly.
Blue There is an active request to physically
locate the shelf.
Note: The Locate LED turns off
automatically after 30 minutes.
