Most MPTl327 commands cannot be executed while on the u&c channel. However,
Standard R2.600 commands may be executed on the traffic channel for measurement purposes.
The WCHSTAT? query returns the status of the channel indicator - i.e. whether the
active channel is the conuol channel or the traffic channel.
