7. Remove the Water Drain Valve (WDV) from the manifold. Check the inlet for any debris and, if present, col-
lect a sample. Blow out the WDV with shop air and set aside to reinstall after the Water Separator is
inspected.
8. Remove the insert from the bowl, inspect the bowl for any foreign materials, wash out the bowl and dry with
a clean cloth.
9. If the WDV needs to be replaced, cut the supporting cable ties and cut the wire at the harness splice.
