All Volume Injection Method Procedure
The all volume injection method, the injection volume, the
feed volume, and the air volume are restricted by the
following relational expression. A stroke of the syringe
capacity can't be used all.
<70 µL of Standard syringe >
vi + vf + va + 10 ≦ 70 µL
vi: Injection volume
(The sample net volume to the flow path)
vf: Feed volume
(The wash fluid volume to deliver a sample to the loop)
va: Air volume
(The air volume of the lead and rear part of a sample)
40 µL loop is used for the autosampler as a standard.
In All volume injection method, the condition as [va: 1 μl of Air
volume (the air volume of the lead and rear part of a sample
is 0.5 μl each ), vf: 1~5 μl of Feed volume] is recommended
for the improvement in the separation and the recovery rate
of the target ingredient measurement.
The condition as [va: 0 μl of Air volume, vf: 5 μl and over of
Feed volume] is recommended when mixture of the air to a
column is avoided.
For a high accuracy gradient analysis, wash flow paths of the
buffer tube and the needle with the wash fluid2 (gradient
initial eluent) after an injection to avoid inflow of the wash
fluid1 (sample solution, etc.) into the column.
