The conditions for the machine to enter
the autonomous mode are:
(see 10.11.3)
successful test of all safety bumpers
connection of the machine via LTE modem to the server (ONLINE LED on
RC is lit)
correction data is received (RTK DATA LED is lit)
the machine knows its exact position (FIX LED is lit)
Procedure:
1.
Place the machine at the edge of the mowing area.
2.
Press the REC button (3 sec) on the RC for a long time to put the machine
into record mode. The AUTONOMOUS LED on the RC flashes from this
moment until the end of the recording.
3.
If there are obstacles inside the mowing area, the interface of the my.spi-
dernewtech.com web app intuitively guides the operator step-by-step
through the entire work mode.
4.
Guide the machine with the remote control around the perimeter of the
mowing area with 50 cm distance from obstacles until you return to the
starting point (maximum 2 m deviation).
5.
The machine must have a stable "RTK FIX" (stable GPS signal while
receiving correction data). Otherwise, the recording is interrupted and the
entire circumnavigation of the area must be performed again.
6.
Press the REC button again (3 s) to stop the recording. AUTONOMOUS
LED will stop flashing
7.
To mark obstacles, follow the same procedure as for marking the perim-
eter of the entire work area, see Perimeter mode in the web interface
my.spidernewtech.com.
8.
When marking obstacles, guide the machine at a distance of 50 cm from
the marked obstacle.
9.
Wait for the route calculation, the machine will announce the completion
by sounding the siren (or check in the app). The process usually takes
1 minute.
10. Move the machine in Manual mode to the starting point of the route and
point the wheels in its direction.
11. Start automatic mowing by pressing the AUTONOMOUS button. Followed
by autonomous mowing as in Autonomous mode.
12. The machine finishes mowing and stops.
13. Switch off the RC by pressing the POWER ON/STOP button on the RC.
14. Switch off the machine by pressing the EMERGENCY STOP button on the
top cover of the machine body, or lock the button.
If any of the safety bumpers are compressed after an impact during the second
part of the mode, see chapter 10.11.3.
In the case of mowing an area using Perimeter mode,
it is possible to initiate this mode without using the web
application interface my.spidernewtech.com. If the mowed
area has a presence of any obstacle, it is necessary to work
from the start of the mode with the my.spidernewtech.com
web app interface.
To generate the correct mowing map for machine operation
in autonomous mode in the first phase of Perimeter mode
it is necessary to drive around the perimeter of the selected
mowing area with at least 50 cm distance from obstacles.
During the marking of the selected area, the defining route
must not cross itself!
