RADIO transmits in the UHF band
(especially for locations without LTE coverage)
in the RTK LTE position, it transmits through the built-in LTE modem
3
Charging and power connector for connection to the supplied multiple
charger
4
Connector for UHF external antenna
5
Power connector for connection to the vehicle's 12 V socket (operation only,
does not charge the built-in battery)
The CST has a memory for 640 coordinates (point table). These are geodetically
accurate positions, which the CST is repeatedly placed on. This point table is
updated and supplemented in cooperation with the manufacturer.

CST01 START-UP PROCEDURE

Its own exact position is being ascertained. This phase takes approximately
3 minutes.
The exact position is compared with the stored points in the points table. If
such a point is found within a distance of 5 m, the CST assumes that it is
located at the exact point found. This state is one of the successful ones,
which may end the execution of the CST. Further, until the termination of
the operation, the CST shall transmit correction data.
If a matching point is not found, the CST shall attempt to obtain correction
data to be more accurate by determining its own position from the local
correction provider. For example, in the Czech Republic, this provider is
the CZEPOS network. The prerequisite for the connection is an available
LTE data connection. Using the correction data from the provider, the CST
then refines its location. This phase takes approximately 2 minutes.
When the position is sufficiently refined with the help of the correction pro-
vider, the start-up sequence of the CST is terminated and the transmission
of the correction data starts until the operation is terminated.
The status of the CST — connection to the GSM network and position acquisition
— is signaled by the CST by means of LEDs around its perimeter and acousti-
cally. The light signals are repeated as long as the KS is in this state.
