Setting the working pressure

1. Unscrew the cap 10 from the valve
bonnet 2.
2. Loosen the lock nut 7.
3. Turn the set screw 8 to the desired position
using a screwdriver / Allen key:
Turn the set screw
clockwise:
Turn the set screw
anticlockwise:
4. Observe the setting range.

5. Secure the setting with lock nut 7.

Protect against leakage!
Provide precautionary measures

against exceeding the maximum
permitted pressures caused by
pressure surges (water hammer).
Prior to cleaning or commissioning the
plant:
If the plant is new and after repairs rinse

the piping system with a fully opened
valve (to remove any harmful foreign
matter).
Cleaning:
The plant operator is responsible for

selecting the cleaning material and
performing the procedure.
Important:
Diaphragms set in the course of
time. After valve installation and
commissioning you must retighten
the bolts 9 or 11 diagonally.
