Transmitter and receiver antenna matching
The antennas of this shield have been designed on a 0.4 mm Rogers RO4350B laminate substrate. This is a
thicker substrate, when compared to the 0.127 mm thick substrate used for the top layer, it allows higher
antenna bandwidths to be supported. All measurements include the feed-throughs from the top layer.
The achieved bandwidth here is over 4 GHz. The antennas' center frequency is shifted to higher frequencies but
can be moved to the center of the BGT60ATR24C MMIC's frequency band by fine tuning.
