4.6 Expansion Card

4.6.1 EXP-M Card (KX-NS5130)

Function
A stacking card to be installed in a KX-NS300. Up to 3 expansion units can be connected.
Accessories and User-supplied Items
Accessories (included): Screws ´ 3, slot cover ´ 1
User-supplied (not included): RJ45 connector, Twisted pair cable (maximum 3 m)
CAUTION
When installing or removing this card, the power switch must be turned off.
Notice
•
When connecting the RJ45 connector, attach the ferrite core (included with the KX-NS320). Refer to
"4.2.8 Attaching a Ferrite Core".
Note
Status LED on KX-NS320 indicates the connection status between EXP-M in KX-NS300 and EXP-S in
KX-NS320.
For more detail, refer to KX-NS320 - LED Indication in "4.3.1 Mother Board".
