We recommend sealing the joint with stove cement. Secure the anchor plate with stainless steel screws. If the Anchor Plate will not sit flush on top of the unit, a Pacific Energy "Anchor Plate Spacer" should be used beween the fireplace and the Anchor Plate. This is due to diferences in the manufacturers chimney sizes. -
