Port status LEDs
The following table provides LED port status information. If an
AdvanceStack 8U/16U SNMP module is installed, additional LED states may
be observed. For information about the hub LEDs when a module is
installed, see the manual accompanying the module.
LED
State
AUI/Xcvr
On
An optional HP Transceiver Module is properly installed in the
Port (green)
hub's back panel slot.
Off
An HP Transceiver Module is not installed.
Slow
The HP Transceiver Module port has auto-partitioned. See
Flash*
"Auto-Partitioning" later in this chapter.
Twisted-pair
On
Link beat is detected from the attached node.
Port (green)
Off
The port is not receiving the link beat signal from the attached
node.
Slow
The port has been auto-partitioned. See "Auto-Partitioning"
Flash*
later in this chapter.
* The slow flash is approximately once every 1.5 seconds.
