Install the guide chain on the tool and pass the chain on the wheel chain.

Install the cover and tighten the fastening screw.

Adjusting the chain tension
The chain must not have too much clearance, but it must be possible to lift the
chain a few millimeters from the guide rail.
Loosen the fixing screw.

Slightly lift the end of the chain guide
-
Check the cutting chain for ease of operation by
-
turning it manually.
- Adjust the tension of the chain by means of the screw
for adjusting the tension of the chain (4) so that the
chain can be lifted a few millimeters from the center of
the guide rail.
Secure the safety screw.

If the chain is not tight or not well installed, repeat the installation.
Filling oil tank
Open the oil tank

Pour a recommended lubrication oil (ask advice to your dealer). Do not overfill.

Close the oil tank.

Checking the lubrication of the chain
The machine must be sufficiently greased for it to function properly.

Insufficient lubrication can shorten the life of the machine.
If the lubrication is not sufficient, you shall fill the machine with lubricating oil.

Before checking the oil, make sure that the guide and the chain are in place.

Once the engine is started, turns it at medium speed and checks that the
chain oil is sprayed and traces off the ground.
h. Installation of the harness
Put on the harness.

If necessary, adjust the bands of the harness to have the blade parallel to the ground when
-
standing in your normal working position to provide you most effectiveness and comfort on
operating the machine.
Install the hook on the main unit to attach the harness.
