Common settings
Network interface settings
Make network settings required for the input and output of
NDI signals.
The system must be restarted for the settings to take effect.
Turn off the main unit, then turn the main unit on again.
IP address/subnet mask/gateway settings
CONF
1 Press the
button to light its indicator, and display
SYS
the System menu.
2 Use [F1] to display the NDI I/F Slot A LAN 1 1/2 sub
menu.
p To set the LAN 2 IP address, display the NDI I/F Slot A
LAN 2 1/2 sub menu.
p If this unit has been inserted in option slot B of
AV-UHS500, display the NDI I/F Slot B LAN 1 1/2 or NDI
I/F Slot B LAN 2 1/2 sub menu.
3 Use [F1] to [F5] in the IP Address item to enter the IP
address, then press [F4] (OK) to confirm.
4 Use [F1] to [F5] in the Subnet Mask item to enter the IP
address, then press [F4] (OK) to confirm.
5 Use [F1] to [F5] in the Default Gateway item to enter the
IP address, then press [F4] (OK) to confirm.
p This is blank if it is not set.
Displaying the MAC address
CONF
1 Press the
button to light its indicator, and display
SYS
the System menu.
2 Use [F1] to display the NDI I/F Slot A LAN 1 2/2 sub
menu.
p To set the LAN 2 MAC address, display the NDI I/F Slot
A LAN 2 2/2 sub menu.
p If this unit has been inserted in option slot B of
AV-UHS500, display the NDI I/F Slot B LAN 1 2/2 or NDI
I/F Slot B LAN 2 2/2 sub menu.
3 The MAC address is displayed.
Option slot connection status
You can confirm that this unit is inserted in the option slot of
AV-UHS500 and is working correctly.

2 Use [F1] to display the Option sub menu.
3 Depending on which of the option slots this unit has
been inserted in, "NDI I/F" is displayed in the Slot A item
or the Slot B item.
p The display is "None" when there is no connection.
