• An FX block can also be bypassed/activated by pressing [YES] and [NO] simultaneously
whilst on a parameter page of the respective block.
• Press [YES] to open the selected FX block's first PARAMETER page.
If ANALOG MODE is set to on, all FX blocks apart from the HEAT block are bypassed. For
more information, please see "6.1.1 ANALOG MODE" on page 17.

7. 2 HEAT

Press [HEAT] to access these parameter pages.
The Heat FX block consists of analog circuits that shapes the audio signal with drive, effect circuit (ac-
cessed from the device's front panel), filter, EQ, and gate.

7.2.1 AMP

DRIVE Sets the gain level of the audio into the distortion circuit. A higher setting results in more distor-
tion. Even at zero level some of the circuits have a clear effect on the sound.
LEVEL Sets the level of the signal that is affected by the effect. Use LEVEL to balance the Wet part of
the signal so that it has a similar level as the Dry part. This makes it easier to use the MIX parameter
to do parallel distortion. For more information, please see "4.1 AUDIO SIGNAL FLOW" on page 12.
MIX Sets the mix between the clean signal and the signal that is affected by the effect.

7.2.2 FILTER 1/2

FREQ Sets the cutoff frequency of the filter.
RESO Sets the amount of resonance at the cutoff point of the filter.
ENV Sets the amount of how much the envelope and envelope follower affects the filter frequency.
A negative value gives an inverted modulation.
LFO Sets the amount of how much the LFO affects the filter frequency. A negative value gives an
inverted modulation.
