f. Move to the rear of the rack and make sure that the metal tabs on the System Interconnect are
inserted into the slots on the rear of the mounting kit. If not, realign the System Interconnect until
they can mate properly.
g. From the front of the rack secure the System Interconnect bracket to the rack with the screws
included in the mounting kit.
9. Leaving a 1U gap, install System Interconnect 2 on the top row of the 3U mounting bracket the same
way that the first was installed.
The figure below provides an illustration of how the back of the rack will look after the installation of
the System Interconnects.
