1. Identify the box that has the System Interconnect label.
2. Remove the Management Interconnect and verify that the serial number matches the system serial
number.
3. From the Management Interconnect box, locate the adapters for mounting the Management
Interconnect in the rack.
4. Screw the adapters to either side of the Management Interconnect. With the adapters attached, the
Management Interconnect will look something like this:
5. At the rear of the rack, on the left side, install two cage nuts in the next 1U space above the System
