1. If you haven't already done so, remove the rail kit from the box and unpack hardware contained
within the packaging.
2. Determine the location you would like to mount the first rail.
In some rack positions where the rack frame may create difficult access to the cable channel, you may
choose to pre-thread the power cables and the SAS cables through the rails before mounting them.
3. Extend the rail to its full length, and insert the hook on the back of the rail into the rear vertical rail.
The extender at the back of the rail is not full-height. There will be two empty holes above the rack
floor or above the previously installed Storage Enclosure Basic.
