rack and then screw the front of the external rail in place.
5. From the back of the rack, align the flush face plate on the back vertical rail with the chamfered holes
facing the back of the rack and then screw the back of the external rail in place.
6. Repeat steps 2-5, for the right external rail.
7. From the System Interconnect box, remove System Interconnect 1.
8. Install System Interconnect 1 into the 3U mounting bracket.
a. From the front of the rack, orient the System Interconnect so that the 48 network ports are facing
toward the back of the rack.
b. Align the System Interconnect with the bottom row of the 3U mounting bracket and slide the
System Interconnect partially into the 3U rail kit.
c. Connect two power cords to the System Interconnect.
d. Thread the power cords on top of the System Interconnect toward the back of the rack. (With the
second System Interconnect thread the power cables through the 1U gap between System
