Note: Each side contains 4, M5 X 12 screws.
12. Follow the two previous steps to attach the other rack ear and rack mount rail.
13. On the left side of the rack, push the edge of the chassis to the left until it is flush with, or just slightly
to the left of, the front face of the vertical rail.
14. While ensuring that the position of the chassis does not move, secure the 4 screws of the chassis to the
vertical rail. Fully tighten the screws (see

slightly to the right of, the front face of the vertical rail.
16. While ensuring that the position of the chassis does not move, secure the 4 screws of the chassis to the
vertical rail. Fully tighten the screws.
17. From the back of the rack, fully tighten the 4 rail screws on the left side of the rack, and then fully
tighten the 4 rail screws on the right side of the rack.
3.5 Installing the sleds
You can install any combination of populated sleds and sled blanks in the Storage Enclosure Basic.
However, the following constraints apply:
