14. Canopy and blower unit housing are assembled
for shipping, these must be divided:
a. Put the canopy and the Blower unit housing
assembly on a flat surface, remove the grease filter
(see also Care & Use section) and remove all
screws from fastener locations (max may be 8).

b. Slide out the canopy (if necessary, disconnect all
cable connections, see also step 22b for further
details).
Note: if canopy doesn't slide out easily , please
check that it doesn't interferes with any part of the
blower unit inside.

15. Hang the blower unit housing with the 2
mounting hooks.
WARNING
Excessive Weight Hazard - Use two or more
people to move and install range hood. Failure
to do so can result in back or other injury.
16.Level the appliance, using a carpenters level
across bottom of hood with leveling screws in
mounting hooks.
17. Secure hood with 1 screw on bottom.

18. Connect ducting to transition. Seal with duct
tape.
Do not use duct smaller than the transition.
For Ductless - recirculating - installations only:
provide and install a duct to connect hood transition
to deflector (the deflector is available as an extra
kit).
