NOTE:
Coaxial vent ing can run horizont al or vert ical.
• Connect flue elbow to top of boiler and adjust direction
of elbow t o desired orient at ion ( rear, right or left ) .
• Measure dist ance from out side wall face t o elbow, t his
dim ension will be known as 'X" , add dist ance " Y" + 2"
( 60 m m ) t o " X" t his is t he t ot al dim ension of t he vent s.
See Figure 5- 2.
• Mark dim ension from above on out er alum inum int ake
vent . Measure lengt h of wast e m at erial, and t ransfer
dimension to inner grey flue pipe.
• Remove waste from both vents (flue and air). Verify cut
ends are square and free from burrs. Insert flue back
int o int ake air vent and pass t hem t hrough hole in wall.
• Check all m easurem ent s before cut t ing. Clearance t o
com bust ible m at erials is zero when using coaxial vent
syst em .
• Aft er inst alling vent ing use calibrat ed analyzer t o verify
t here is no recirculat ion of com bust ion.
• Ensure Horizont al t erm inat ion is posit ioned wit h fresh air
slot s on t he bot t om .
